A bump-centered road tire? A road tire ready for the dirt? You decide! At 48mm wide, the René Herse Oracle Ridge strikes the perfect balance between a narrow gravel tire (38mm) and a mountain bike volume tire (55mm) – ideal for the latest generation of gravel and all-terrain bikes. We developed the Oracle Ridge with bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox, and named it after one of Lael's favorite routes: Oracle Ridge is a beautiful gravel climb outside Tucson, AZ, that connects to the back of Mount Lemmon for an ultra-fast, pavement descent. On the gravel climb, this tire grips tenaciously thanks to its wide, widely spaced knobs. On the descent, it corners like a sheet thanks to its large, strategically placed knobs that don't wobble and always put the same amount of rubber on the road.
The Oracle Ridge features our patented Noise Cancelling Technology: offset tread blocks create overlapping noise frequencies that partially cancel each other out. The speed, grip, and quietness of the Oracle Ridge make you forget you're riding on a knobby tire—until you hit loose or muddy ground and appreciate the extra traction. The Standard casing is our most affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet tough enough to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes your bike's performance, comfort, and feel to a whole new level. The Endurance casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while maintaining the speed and comfort Rene Herse tires are famous for. The Oracle Ridge is tubeless compatible. For a tubeless setup, we recommend SealSmart sealant. When used with tubes, we recommend SV19 or SV19A tubes.
